Chromatography, is a way to separate pigments from different colours
Method:
1. On a peice of chromatography paper draw a 3cm line from one side of the paper to the other
2. Fill a beaker to, 2 cm.
3. Dot the paper with different colour ink approximately 2 cm apart
4. Put the paper in the water
Now watch as the colour slowly starts to spred upwards
